Andy Chandler, Partner

Andy Chandler began his land development and homebuilding career in Atlanta in 1982. He has a broad spectrum of core development disciplines that support his keen site acquisition capabilities.

During a four year tenure at the Georgia division of Beazer Homes, Andy served as vice president of land acquisition and development and led an initiative to increase the company’s lot position from 60 to over 2000. His success in this area facilitated the company’s growth of home sales in Atlanta from 150 to over 600+ annually. While at Beazer, Andy met and developed a business relationship with Jim Parker.

In 2003 Parker and Chandler left Beazer Homes and simultaneously founded the site development company, Parker Chandler Development (PCD) and Parker Chandler Homes (PCH). In 2006, after a very strong run, PCH, and PCD were sold to a publicly traded company at a very high return for all of its capital investment partners.

In 1996 the national home builder, Engle Homes with an annual volume of 3,500 units, entered the Atlanta market and hired Andy to manage all land acquisition and development activities.

Prior to Engle, in 1990, Andy joined Brown Realty Advisors, involved in their apartment marketing and sales effort and at the same time founded Walton Land Company specializing in developing pad sites for builders.

In 1983, Mr. Chandler joined Bovis Brunning Homes (BBH) and served as acquisition and development director.  At that time BBH had annual home sales of 500+ and Andy had the responsibility for all land acquisitions, development, and joint venture negotiations.

After attending the University of Georgia, Mr. Chandler began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker in 1980. He trained for and developed a skill selling land to developers and lots to builders.

Andy is married and has 3 daughters and 2 sons and his family is active in water and adventure sports.
